Hi All,
Just a water update for everyone. We have gone through all of the appropriate steps to test our water and all of the tests have turned out good, now we are just waiting for the County Water Board to lift our restriction. They have been swamped, but I expect this to happen today sometime. Thanks for your patience.

Todays School Safety announcement: Do not talk to strangers and never get in a car with someone that you do not know.
This was a reminder due to the news article about the silver car that was offering children candy and rides home in the Modesto City Schools area.

When the air level goes to a "3" we allow students with breathing issues or sensitivity to stay indoors for recess and lunch. We have made an announcement to all of the students, but sometimes they will not let us know, because they would prefer to play with their friends. Please talk to your student about advocating for themselves, or contact the front office.

Hi All,
We have found a replacement for our 6th Grade Teacher. Cassandra England will be taking over in 6th Grade. She comes to us from Stanislaus State University, she did her Student Teaching in 4th Grade, Long Term Sub in 3rd Grade, and her latest job was teaching Summer School in 4th grade in Ceres. She Coaches Cheer at Oakdale High School. Please help us welcome Ms. England to Paradise, she will be a great addition to the team.

We have some changes with our Staff for the new year. We have a new PE Teacher, Mr. Mrgudic (Mr. Merg), he is a professional runner and graduate of Stanislaus State. We have a new 6th grade Teacher, Mr. Pena who comes to us from the University of the Pacific. Mrs. Tindall will be filling in for Mrs. Blom in Kindergarten, and she has 15+ years of teaching Kindergarten. Mrs. Silveira will be taking over the Counseling responsibilities, while continuing in her other duties. Cherokee Delisle will be heading up the lunch program, with other duties as assigned. And we have Jenny Velasquez a graduate of MJC, coming to help in the front office and work with students. We look forward to a great year.
