SCHOOL SAFETY WEEK - We will be talking about school safety this week and practicing all of our drills. Today we practiced Lunchroom Earthquake, and Lock Down. The students did an excellent job, and learned a lot. Please let your children know this is part of learning emergency procedures while at school. Thanks for your support.
FOOTBALL AND VOLLEYBALL Friday 10/11/24
Just a reminder that games will be starting early on Friday. Games will start at 9:15 and will be done by 11:15 due to our Early Release Schedule for Parent/Teacher Conferences. We will still have our snack bar that day, but will focus more on Breakfast Snacks. Go Roadrunners!!!!
Middle School Neon Dance -
Parent Club will be accepting permission slips at the door, for students who did not get their permission slip turned in.
MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE - Friday October 4th
NEON Dance is this Friday. Pizza and Food will be made available for purchase. Should be a fun evening of food and music, maybe a little dancing... It will start at 6pm and ends promptly at 9pm.
STUDENT OF THE MONTH ASSEMBLY - We are trying to bring back assemblies after a long break from them due to COVID. Our first all-student assembly will be this Friday 9/27. We have a Cowgirl/Cowboy dress up day, and Football /Volleyball vs Shiloh, games starting at 12:30pm. We look forward to getting back to some of our routines, and bringing back that Roadrunner pride.
NEVER FORGET 9/11
This morning we had a moment of silence in remembrance of those that were lost on 9/11. Our flag is at half-mast as we recognize Patriot Day. Always Remember.
FOOTBALL AND VOLLEYBALL
Our first football and Volleyball games are on September 20th at Gratton. Game times are approximate, but we are scheduled to start at 11:00am with the "B" game, and the "A" volleyball will follow 20 minutes following the completion of the "B" game. The "A" football game will begin at approximately 12:00pm.

Just a reminder, there is NO SCHOOL on Monday September 2nd.
HAWAIIAN DRESS UP - Friday August 30th is Hawaiian Dress Up Day. Let's make this place look like Hawaii. If you don't have Hawaiian type clothing you can dress in school colors, Blue and Gold is always Bold. Go Roadrunners!!
MOBILE DAIRY ASSEMBLY - Today we had a special guest come out to visit from the California Dairy Council with the Mobile Dairy. They had a late cancellation, and were able to come by Paradise and talk to us about Dairy Cows, and we were able to see one while we learned about them. It was fun for our kids, and they were able to learn more about the area where we go to school.

SOLAR ECLIPSE:
Today we will be teaching about the Solar Eclipse, and we will be providing every student with protective glasses to see the Eclipse. Every class will be doing activities to different degrees and we will be monitoring students at recess. The Eclipse can be viewed from approximately 10:15am to 12:15pm.
